Ryan Fabre: Returning Home to South Florida to Help the Injured
Schwed Law’s newest attorney is an experienced local product who returned to Palm Beach Gardens from Washington, D.C. to be near his family. Ryan Fabre, the latest member of Schwed Law’s roster of talented personal injury attorneys, joined the firm in July 2021. A native of Palm Beach Gardens, Ryan attended high school here and still has extended family (including his parents and siblings) in the area. His mother is an attorney, which motivated him to attend law school himself.
After graduating from high school, Ryan attended the University of Notre Dame for his undergraduate studies and then moved to the nation’s capital for law school at George Washington School of Law, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. He then spent several more years in Washington, D.C., working at some of the world’s largest and most prestigious law firms before deciding to return home to South Florida.
What made Schwed Law really stand out for Ryan among the firms he could have joined in South Florida was its talented team of trial attorneys. In particular, he is excited to join a firm that is not afraid to take cases to trial—and that regularly does so. Ryan has a similar attitude, and he will be a staunch advocate for his clients. Moreover, he is excited to use the litigation skills he honed while representing some our nation’s largest companies for the benefit of individuals who have been injured.
Outside of work, Ryan loves to travel, and he has been to over 50 countries at last count with highlights being trekking to Mt. Everest base camp, diving the Great Barrier Reef, and going on a camel safari in the Sahara Desert. Indeed, it was while traveling in a small town in Australia that he met his wife, a British citizen. Ryan enjoys playing chess, where he is a member of a local chess club and hopes to begin participating in local tournaments to hone his skills even further. He also participates in CrossFit every morning at a local gym before work.
