Tavis Souder, Litigation Associate
Tavis is a highly experienced trial attorney specializing in trucking accidents, car accidents, medical malpractice, and personal injury cases. With a proven track record of securing over $30 million in recoveries, Tavis is known for his relentless pursuit of justice against insurance companies and large corporations on behalf of his clients.
Tavis began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for Florida's 15th Judicial Circuit, where he was appointed to the Major Crimes Division – Traffic Homicide Unit. In this role, he prosecuted vehicular homicide and DUI manslaughter cases, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and advanced training in accident reconstruction. These skills are now instrumental in his advocacy for individuals injured by large trucks and commercial vehicles.
After his tenure at the Office of the State Attorney, Tavis served as in-house counsel for one of the nation’s largest insurance companies, where he successfully defended against numerous negligence claims, securing multiple defense verdicts at trial. Despite his success in defending these cases, Tavis felt a compelling drive to advocate for victims of negligence. This led him to transition to plaintiff representation, where he now dedicates his expertise to fighting for the rights of those harmed by others’ negligence.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the Florida State College of Law.
Tavis is a native Floridian born and lives with his wife in Jupiter, Florida.
