Stephen W. Schwed, Founding and Managing Partner
Stephen W. Schwed is the founding and managing partner of Schwed Law, which was established in 2007. He has been a member of the Florida Bar for over thirty years and is also a member of the Tennessee Bar. After more than twenty years of experience and over 100 jury trials, Steve resigned as senior partner from one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in Florida to open Schwed Law in 2007.
Schwed Law’s entire practice is dedicated to representing clients injured as a result of others’ negligence. Schwed Law has represented thousands of clients throughout Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas, the majority of which have been injured in automobile accidents and slip or trip and fall accidents. Since 2007, the firm has successfully resolved over sixteen thousand (16,000) cases and recovered over five hundred million dollars ($500,000,000.00) for its clients around the country.
Steve has been married for thirty years and is the proud father of two daughters, Stephanie and Erica. Stephanie recently graduated from law school and is awaiting admission to the Florida Bar, while Erica is graduating this year from the University of California. Steve enjoys running, biking, traveling and golf during his free time.
