Paul Shalhoub wins trial against Wal-Mart

Paul Shalhoub recently won a trial in Miami against Wal-Mart and now Wal-Mart will have to pay!  Paul’s client slipped and fell while shopping which resulted in injuries to his neck and back. Wal-Mart claimed it wasn’t responsible for the liquid that was on the floor; that it didn’t have time to clean it up and, that Paul’s client should have seen the liquid and avoided it.  Paul’s client made a reasonable demand before trial but Wal-Mart wanted to fight the case so Paul took them to trial.  After three days, the jury came back with their verdict, agreeing with Paul and his client. The jury found Wal-Mart 100% responsible and awarded almost 4 times what Paul’s client asked for before trial.
