Paul Shalhoub, Litigation Associate
Paul Shalhoub is AV Preeminent Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and his peers and has been annually since 2015. Paul concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, auto accidents, slip and fall accidents, construction accidents, general liability, and construction litigation. While attending law school, Paul interned with the Dorchester Assistant District Attorney and Greater Boston Legal Services. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Florida and Juris Doctorate from New England School of Law. He is admitted in Florida and to the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida.
Paul has the honor of being selected to Florida Super Lawyers Rising Stars in Personal Injury each year from 2017 to 2021. Palm Beach Illustrated recognized Paul in 2018 as a Top Lawyer in the field of Personal Injury Law. He was recently recognized by National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyers in Personal Injury Law.
In addition to being an attorney, Paul is also heavily involved in his community. He was elected as Councilman for the Town of Lake Clarke Shores in March of 2017; he was reelected in 2018, is currently serving his second term and was voted in as Vice Mayor. Paul is an active member of the Palm Beach County League of Cities and is Vice Chair of the Finance Taxation and Personnel Committee.
Paul is a member of the Young Lawyers Section (YSL) of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and Chairman/Co-Founder of the Annual YLS No Shave November Event. The November 2018 event raised over $35,000 for Cancer Alliance – a record fundraising event for the YLS of Palm Beach County Bar Association; the event has raised over $130,000 for local nonprofit Cancer Alliance of Help and Hope in its six-year run. In April 2019 Paul received the Champion of Help and Hope award from Cancer Alliance of Help and Hope for his work chairing the No Shave Event.
Paul married his wife, Danielle Shalhoub, in 2016 and the couple had their first child, Vivian Carmen Shalhoub, in October 2017, and their second, Oliver Shalhoub, in 2020. In his spare time, Paul operates a BBQ catering company, Smokin’ Gator BBQ, with his father and enjoys watching Florida Gator Football
Paul was admitted to the bar and the USDC in 2011. Graduated college in 2003 and law school in 2010.
Since joining the firm in September 2017, Paul has recovered millions of dollars for our clients including trial verdicts and settlements. In 2020, he won a trial in Miami against Wal-Mart; the jury found Wal-Mart 100% responsible and awarded almost 4 times what Paul’s client asked for before trial.
